another contribution to food-miles …..our day, in other words.

For the second time, we drove with the trailer to get a glasshouse. We’re getting good at it, Jen and I. Now we have two, which I will join end-to-end, with some pieces of a third in between. It was a long way, though. It’ll take a lot of propagating (not the kind that hinges off propafencing – the other kind) to repay the miles travelled. Still, it’s here. Onsite, ready to extend our season at both ends, and probably in the middle.

We can’t stop oil being depleted, but we can store it’s use for the future. That’s how I see that trip. That’s how I see our solar panels. And – let’s face it – just about everything.
